Aparigraha is non-grasping — the practice of holding things, hours, outcomes, and even your own idea of yourself with an open hand rather than a closed one. It is the last of the five yamas, the ethical ground the whole of yoga is built on. What follows is thirty-five days of it: five gates, seven days each, moving from the easiest thing to release to the hardest.
